Summary
TikTok Shop added five new flammable material categories to prohibited products: rubbing alcohol, acetone, gasoline/lighter fluid, fuel-containing lighters/torches, and fire-starting fuels/accelerants.
Why it matters
Sellers listing any of these items face immediate listing removal and account penalties. This adds new safety-based restrictions without transition period, requiring urgent inventory and catalog review to avoid enforcement action.
Recommended action
Audit active listings for rubbing alcohol, acetone, gasoline, lighter fluid, fuel lighters, torches, and fire-starting products. Remove all matches immediately and verify compliance within 7 days to avoid account health deductions.
