Summary
Policy document substantially condensed. Core OVL mechanics, probation program rules, and violation appeal procedures removed. Only key points and section headers retained in new version dated 06/30/2026.
Why it matters
Sellers lose detailed guidance on OVL tracking, probation task completion, violation appeal steps, and best practices for limit increases. New condensed format provides minimal actionable detail despite same underlying rules remaining in force.
Recommended action
Confirm whether detailed OVL guidance has been moved to linked pages (Probation Program, Shop Health) or permanently removed. If removed, sellers may struggle to understand compliance pathways. Verify full policy intent remains unchanged despite format collapse.
Key Points: Order Volume Limit (OVL) caps the number of orders a shop can receive per day.
You can check your OVL in Seller Center on the Manage Orders page.

This document outlines what an Order Volume Limit (OVL) is, how to check it, and why this limit may be applied to your shop.
Order Volume Limits are also subject to our Seller Enforcement Policy.
Sellers must comply with both this document and the Seller Enforcement Policy when operating a shop on Tik Tok Shop and fulfilling customer orders.
Upon reaching an OVL, products will appear as "out of stock" to customers and the shop will not be able to receive additional orders until the order limit is reset the next day.
Affects: Seller
By restricting daily order limits, Tik Tok Shop helps ensure that sellers can manage their order fulfillment effectively.
Product is shown "out of stock" to customers when OVL is reached.
Checking Your OVL From Seller Center, click on the Probation Program Page to find out your current status, order volume, and tasks associated to increase your order limit.
Please note: The Order Volume Tracker displays both the daily order limit and remaining orders.
The first number (0) represents orders received and the second number (50) shows the seller's OVL.
This seller has 0 orders and 50 orders left before their OVL resets the following day.
Probation Program All shops in the Shop Probation Program are subject to daily order volume limits.
You can increase the order limit by completing probation tasks.
Visit the Probation Program Page to find out your current status, order volume and tasks.
Violations Shop violations may impact your order limit.
Check the Seller Center Shop Health to monitor any violations.
To submit an appeal for a violation, please follow the standard violation appeal process with these steps: Seller Center > Shop Health page > Violation Records > View details > Appeal How will I know if an OVL has been applied to my shop?
If your shop receives an OVL due to a violation, a violation ticket will appear in Seller Center > Shop Health > Violation Records.
Please note: When a seller is in probation with an OVL of 200 and later receives a violation that sets the OVL to 10, the lower limit (OVL 10) will take effect.
If your OVL is applied due to the New Shop Probation Period or other special circumstances, you’ll see it reflected on your homepage or in the Manage Orders tab.
