Summary
Policy page restructured and condensed; detailed requirements for manufacturers, importers, resellers, and enforcement actions removed. Core shelf-stable food definitions and qualification process remain substantively unchanged.
Why it matters
Page simplification reduces guidance clarity for sellers seeking detailed compliance steps. However, no new restrictions, deadlines, or enforcement triggers were introduced; existing obligations remain stable.
Recommended action
Review updated documentation to confirm required qualification process is still understood. Monitor official Qualification Center portal for detailed submission requirements previously outlined in full policy text.
