Summary
New EC ban thresholds restrict marketing creator bindings: 1 ban allows 5 bindings per 180d; 2+ bans block new bindings; 4+ bans risk permanent loss. Binding cap raised from 4 to 10 for clean shops.
Why it matters
Sellers with EC bans lose ability to scale affiliate networks. Permanent ban risk at 4+ violations. Clean shops gain 10 binding slots vs prior 4-limit, increasing growth potential but raising compliance obligations.
Recommended action
Audit bound creator accounts for EC ban history. Document compliance status. Review marketing strategy if 1+ ban exists. Plan creator roster within 180-day rolling window limits.
When adding a new marketing creator binding, the system checks bindings created in the last 180 days.
If fewer than 5 bindings exist → A new binding is allowed.
If 5 or more bindings exist → Additional bindings are not allowed.
The shop temporarily cannot add new marketing creator bindings.
Binding privileges will resume once the EC Ban count drops below 2 within the rolling 180-day window.
The shop may permanently lose the ability to add new marketing creator bindings.
Shops without any EC bans on their Official or Marketing creator accounts may bind up to 10 marketing creators within a 180-day period. Please use discretion and send invitations thoughtfully.
EC Ban restrictions override the standard creator binding limits described above.
