Summary
New mandatory disclosure requirements for product safety: identity, warnings, instructions, ingredients, dates, and claims support. Unsupported health claims, omitted safety info, and unsafe content depictions now explicitly prohibited.
Why it matters
Sellers must now include specific safety disclosures (warnings, age restrictions, ingredients, shelf life) in listings and cannot show unsafe use in images, videos, or livestreams. Non-compliance risks listing removal and enforcement action.
Recommended action
Audit all product listings for required disclosures: warnings, age restrictions, ingredients, instructions, expiration dates. Remove unsupported health claims. Review all product images and video content for unsafe use depictions.
